FineTek join as a new advertiser

The International Milling Directory can today announce that the Taiwan-based firm FineTek have enhanced their listing to include advertising. After introducing them on December 19 2012 we have been steadily making progress in creating a better directory where more companies see the value of advertising. The international reach of the directory is a good match for FineTek.  There will be extra listings and exposure for FineTek in the 22nd edition covering the milling industry for 2013/14.

 

 

 

As we said at the time of introducing FineTek their main business is,

FineTek’s product line includes a varied and wide quantity of digital controllers and meters, pneumatic products, safety instruments,  level switch transmitters for solid and liquid applications.

The International Milling Directory website will be getting a series of updates. This site has provided a great channel for all other online exposure for International Milling Directory members and we seek to improve it further. We will make the online site a better experience but wanted to invite and include members in with this change too. It comes when we are well into updating the new print edition with new members and advertisers. Any suggestions can be emailed to Tom at tomb@perendale.co.uk.

The website will be fully functional whilst the changes are being made so have no fear in going there now.

Storage equipment guide

The International Milling Directory was successfully distributed to all key players at IDMA. 10 boxes were shipped over in advance of our participation at this key Turkish event. We also were able to distribute directly to flour millers after the event as we visited Çorum, Aksaray, Konya and Ankara. We passed many silo plants – new and old installations in a number of places. Many were manufactured by advertising partners of the International Milling Directory and were found in both towns and the rural country.

One such photo here shows GSI silos at  BOLU UN VE YEM SANAYİİ (translation: Bolu flour and feed industry). This is a key example of the way that storage is valued in Turkey, which is well known now as an important local and international milling industry, which, importantly is growing well.

Enewsletter column: March 2013

The International Milling Directory (IMD) has had a rather a lot of attention recently. We made waves in Louisville with a successful event. Regular and new members were drawn towards our hundreds of copies of the IMD – the 6 boxes we shipped over were snapped up within 2 days, leaving latecomers on the final day with not a lot of availability!

VIV Asia took place in Bangkok in early March. A great honour of the opening reception was a mention for International Milling Directories’ owner and publisher Perendale and Roger Gilbert was a boon for us all back in the office. When we found out the feedback and invitation to chair more CropTech-FeedTech conferences at more VIV events around the world was relayed back, we were all proud of this opportunity in thought leadership. The next event in this series Roger is attending will be in the Netherlands.

The next event draws closer all the time and our build up, tools and ambitions for IDMA in Turkey are very high. This is a bi-annual event in Istanbul will take place over four days and we decided to ship 10 boxes of the IMD to this exciting event. Our large presence will be part of marketing the IMD to returning and new Turkish members and they will be able to see and ask for information about participation in the new edition. On that topic, we are expecting to redesign and improve the functionality of the IMD this year which makes it the leading publication in handbooks for the international milling community.

New companies in the IMD this month: Kay International (India), Aciklar Un Sanayi (Turkey), Jiangsu Myande Food Machinery Co. Ltd. (China) and Dan Corn (Denmark).

Today the International Milling Directory welcomes Dan-Corn A/S. This company are a specialist in the area of milling and mainly operate in Scandanavia however do have good familiarity with the UK. Perendale are looking forward to meeting Jens and others from the company at Cereals 2013 in Lancashire in a matter of months!

The International Milling Directory is once again participating at IDMA in Istanbul, Turkey.

Tom Blacker and Darren Parris will be exhibiting at stand A-19 in Hall 11 freely distributing the 21st editions of the International Milling Directory, the latest paper copy issues of Grain & Feed Milling Technology magazine. Do come and find us at the show, along with hundreds of other companies. This is our major show for grain in Turkey. We are already getting in touch with other attending companies for meetings.

The International Milling Directory welcomed its newest member to end a busy week. Jiangsu Myande Food Machinery Co.,Ltd is a small offshoot of the Muyang group of Jiangsu, China. We have an excellent relationship and partnership with Muyang already that means their coverage has been and will be again one of the top advertisers in the International Milling Directory‘s 22nd edition this year in 2013. Who knows where 2013 will lead for Myande?

VIV Asia 2013 has been a successful event so far for Perendale Publishers, the International Milling Directory‘s publishing house.

The producers, organisers and staff at VIV Asia have thanked Roger many times for an excellent job chairing CropTech-FeedTech conference yesterday in Bangkok. They want Roger to chair the CropTech-FedTech Russia, India, Latin America and China, said Tuti Tan of Perendale Publishers Ltd.
Tuti continues, “Perendale was mentioned in the opening ceremony too. Gerard from VIV has praised Roger many times. Roger certainly was very happy after the conference. [Plus, participating companies such as] FOSS, Muyang, Wenger and Agentis’ speaker thanked Roger for a good conference”.
